Sam Vye — founder
A UK-born geophysicist and self-taught mechanical engineer who settled in New Zealand and launched SYOS in Mount Maunganui in January 2021 to build intelligent, utilitarian uncrewed systems.
Beginnings
Founded in Mount Maunganui in 2021 by Sam Vye, SYOS grew from utilitarian drones into multi-domain uncrewed vehicles across NZ and the UK.
